In other news, I also love this song by Rihanna. GREAT sound, but the part that grabbed me was the fact that Rihanna's makeup in the "Who's That Chick" music video is outrageously neon and funky but never looks garish or unflattering on her. In fact, she looks downright gorgeous in this video! I suspect it's because the fluourescent yellow on her lids is anchored by the unconpromisingly bold, black feline application of her eyeliner. So my real question would be: "Who's That Makeup Artist" ???? Because she's AWESOME.

ReplyDeleteunfortunately - not great point on rihanna looking smashing. i HATE rihanna. i think she is SO overrated looks-wise and style-wise. like since when do we think freaks have a great aesthetic? is lady gaga next as a style icon? freaks are freaks.
i do love both songs though. i LOVE the chris brown song. it actually even makes me want to get on a treadmill and RUN (imagine that!).
again - i hate rihanna's look. i thought she was SO much prettier when she was normal - long darkish hair and all. it all started with that bob she got..that's why i won't let myself get the long bob i want. it's a slippery slope, seoul sister. next thing you know, i'll have a red mohawk!
